2022-23 Narragansett Surf Camp registration forms are now available at the shop.

A great Christmas present.

We started the surf camp program in 1978 at the Narragansett Town Beach as an ESA learning camp.  Over the years, we have expanded it to the most successful multiple surf camp programs in the Northeast. Thousands of beginners have participated in the camps, which are now also at Matunuck Point in South Kingstown, and include a very popular skim board camp at the Town of South Kingstown Town Beach. We operate the only surf camps in Rhode Island, certified by the National Surf School Instructors Association, which is the governing body of all surf schools in the United States. The 2023 surf camp series at both locations are limited to 25 participants per week, and the skim board camps to 15 participants per week.

Camps run from Monday to Thursday from 10 AM to 3 PM, and surfers must bring their own food and drinks. Our ratio of instructors to students is the best in on the East Coast, at 5-1. Camps begin the week of June 19 and run until the week of August 21.
